Rapper/Producer from the former A&M Records' Boston, Massachusetts hip-hop group:
TOP CHOICE CLIQUE
As the current dominion of hip-hop continues to struggle with the absence of quality, enter the mindset of the artist
The city of Boston, Massachusetts has felt the presence of this accomplished artist for some time. During the years of his involvement with A&M Records' hip-hop recording artists Top Choice Clique, FORCEFEELD has seen the triumphs and pitfalls of the music industry. As the producer of the group and one of the main vocalists, FORCEFEELD has seen respect and recognition fueled by national radio play and favorable reviews in music trade magazines.
The popular Top Choice Clique from Boston secured spots on two major motion picture soundtracks. The local hit "Peace of Mind" appeared in the Jonathan Sayles' movie 'City of Hope'. After signing a major record deal with A&M Records, the single 'I Think to Myself' received national recognition on the soundtrack for the Mario Van Peebles' movie 'Posse'. While performing the single 'Push It Past Red' and promoting themselves on an extensive, regional radio tour, the group's videos received support from BET, MTV, and other video outlets.
After achieving continual, yearly nominations for the Boston Music Awards and performing at Kiss 108's Great Woods concert, matters went haywire for the Clique. In 1995, they disbanded because of mishandled management and the "red tape" of legal issues surrounding their unreleased album 'Real Chemistry'. The album would eventually be released years later in 2008 as a double CD on the Boston, Massachusetts hip-hop label Brick Records.
Following a lengthy hiatus which included finishing college studies, joining the workforce, growing older and wiser, in addition to, getting married and starting a family, rapper/producer FORCEFEELD prepares to return to his hip-hop roots and mark his territory in music again.
Armed with intoxicating production skills, clever lyrics, a unique identity, and a distinct vocal delivery, FORCEFEELD begins to rise again and step into the forefront as a solo artist. Learning from lessons and experiences in his past, he brings wisdom from the golden age of hip-hop into the platinum era, and paves the way towards a fruitful future in the music world.
